The Rope Twisted Pinwheel Bun!

Hi Guys! I am back and today I will be teaching you how to do the Rope Twisted Pinwheel Bun.

Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 1 ponytail holder, 1 bun maker {matching color of hair}, 4-6 bobby pins, hairspray and accessory {if desired}.

Time Requirement: 15-20 minutes

Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. Begin by placing hair into a high ponytail…
  2. Next, take your bun maker {matching the hair color} and, pulling the hair through it, slide it down to the base of the ponytail…
  3. Now let the hair fall down evenly over bun maker…
  4. Create a little separation on one side of the bun, where you will begin the rope twists…
  5. Next, pick up a small section of hair and divide it into two small strands…
  6. Now, twist both pieces each in the same direction a few times, and then twist them together in the opposite direction {this is the standard rope braiding technique, and you should only need to twist down about 4-5 inches or so}…
  7. Then, you will reach two fingers down through the middle of the bun maker, grabbing the twist you just created, and pulling it up through the middle of the bunker…
  8. Now untwist any  ends,if they are still twisted at all, and pick up some additional hair to combine with your strand…
  9. Again, separate the section of hair into two strands, making sure to divide the shorter strands evenly with the newly added-in hair…
  10. Repeat Steps #6-9 until the entire bun maker is covered with the rope-twisted strands…
  11. When you get to the last rope twist, pull it through the bun maker and then rope twist the ends all the way down the strand…
  12. Now, take the end and wrap it under the bun, around the ponytail holder, and bobby pin it securely into place.
  13. Perfect your bun by tucking any layered wispies underneath the neighboring twist, and spread the twists out evenly around the bun…
  14. Add hair wax or hairspray {as desired}, and a cute accessory.             Prom Updos

Mother's Day!

Hello! I'm Back and I am so excited to say that today is Mother's Day! Here are some fun and super nice ideas to give your mom on Mother's Day! Although It may be a hassle. It may take some thought. But the mission of Mother's Day is simple: Be nice to your mom, surprise her with surprises, serve her breakfast in bed, make a kind card, and anything else you would like to do for your mom. Stop thinking about yourself for a little while and think about how you can show the moms in your life a little appreciation.

Birthday Ideas!

Hi! I'm Back! It's been quite a while since my last post. But, I'm back now, so lets get started! My birthday wasn't to long ago, but it was on March 30. For my birthday I had a Hollywood party. It was Awesome! The decorations were bomb, the food was tasty, the games were super fun, and it was outside, WHILE IT WAS RAINING!!! To have a successful party, there are 7 party essentials to remember while planning. First, choose the theme. Some really fun theme ideas are sleepovers, Hollwood parties, Valentine parties (if your birthday is around Valentines Day), Beach, pool, or summer parties, a Spa Party, Under the sea party, a Fiesta party, go to the movies, or go to a local ice cream place. Second, decide the location. Third, figure out what type of invitations you will buy (they should match the theme of the party), and who you will give them to. Fourth, pick the decorations. Fifth, decide what games and activities you will be doing. Sixth, choose what kind of food you will be serving at your party (probably the most important part). Seventh, pick out a cute favor for everyone to take home. Once you finish planning out that, then your birthday party is complete! I hope these birthday tips will come in handy someday. Thanks!

Hairstyles!

HI! I'm Back! and today I will be showing you a cute hairstyle! Here it is.

Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 1 ponytail holder, 1 small hair elastic, hairspray and accessory {if desired}.
Time Requirement: 3-5 minutes
Skill Level: Easy
Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. I began with triple flipunders as a base accent, in the front of the head…
  2. Pull all hair into a high ponytail, and secure with an ponytail holder.
  3. Separate the ponytail into two equal sections…
  4. Clip one of the sections out of the way for now…
  5. Using the unclipped section, divide it into two equal strands…
  6. Twist both stands to the right…
  7. Now, twist them together going to the left {this creates a rope twist, which ensure that the rope braid will not unravel when you are done}…
  8. Continue rope twisting the braid, until you reach the end and secure with an elastic or have your daughter hold the twist…
  9. Next, unclip the rest of the ponytail that you had set aside previously…
  10. Again, separate it into two equal sections, twist them both to the right, and then twist them together to the left…
  11. Complete this process on the second section until you reach the end…
  12. Once you have the two twists completed, now twist them together going to the right {this is what causes the twists to spiral around each other, with the twisting causing the strands to interlock, create the chain link look you are going for}…
  13. Add hairspray or accessory {as desired}
